Johnny Williams

As an Analyst for Infinia Foresight, Johnny Williams monitors the vital signs of a consumer culture in constant transition. With a background in both qualitative and quantitative research, he brings valuable analytical insight to IF's ongoing conversation on retail, product and behavioral trends.

His passion for marketing began at Sterling Brands, where he crisscrossed the states conducting numerous studies into youth culture. But Johnny wasn't born doing brand work: he has worked in such fields as literacy advocacy, education, and music production. In 2004, he composed and produced the score to the hip hop musical Clay, which premiered at the Lookingglass Theatre in Chicago and is making its Off-Broadway debut this fall. His proudest achievement to date, however, remains mastering the art of the crepe at The Skinny Pancake in Burlington, VT.

Johnny earned a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Study from NYU's Gallatin School. There he constructed his own curriculum focused on Postcolonial Studies. Within this concentration, he researched the iniquitous yet inevitable rise of globalization by blending traditional historic research with cultural ingredients such as language, media, and music. He currently lives in a renovated hospital in Brooklyn.
